Our 2024 Impact Report, released this June, encapsulates a year of transformative work amidst challenging economic conditions, highlighting their mission, achievements, and future goals.

Our Mission: Opening Doors to Digital Careers

WYK Digital is dedicated to preparing diverse talent for sustainable digital careers through free-to-access skills training programs. Our courses are designed to equip young people with the skills and confidence needed for the digital workplace, with best in class training, live campaigns and projects with real businesses. This hands-on approach produces motivated, industry-ready candidates from diverse backgrounds, addressing both individual career potential and business needs.

Impact in Numbers

WYK’s success is evident through impressive statistics:

  • 748 learners have completed their courses.

  • 69% of digital marketing trainees secure permanent roles within six months.

  • 85% course completion rate.

  • 96% of trainees report increased employability.

  • An average starting salary of £25,000 for graduates.

  • 120+ hours of live tuition per course.

Championing Diversity and Inclusion

WYK’s programs are a beacon of inclusivity:

  • 56% of trainees are female or non-binary.

  • 52% come from the most deprived areas.

  • 73% are from minority communities.

  • 59% have no degree education.

  • 52% are claiming universal credit.

Looking ahead, WYK is launching several initiatives:

  1. Employer Pledge: Encouraging partners to commit to equitable hiring practices, offering free access to WYK trainees.

  2. AI Learning Assistant “Marvi”: Utilising AI to provide personalised learning experiences and support trainers.

  3. Beyond the Job Offer: A program to support early career talent in their first two years, aiming to improve staff retention.

  4. Soft Skills Focus: Addressing the soft skill gap with new course components on confidence, communication, and dealing with anxiety.
